Mr. Kenichiro Saito, a lawyer who has specialized in advertising regulations, has been invited as a lecturer to clearly explain the basics of the Act on Securing Quality, Efficacy and Safety of Products Including Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices and the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums and Misleading Representations at the workshop. Aim of the workshop
In recent years, it has become common practice for people to post product showcases and reviews on social media, blogs and video sharing platforms. In this environment, sometimes you can find posts that use misleading expressions without thinking in ways that can cause consumers to have an incorrect understanding, for example, expressions regarding the effectiveness of a product, recommendations and statements regarding improvements. There is another matter of public concern: Stealth marketing by enterprises that does not appropriately state that posts are sponsored advertisements.
In light of this situation, ValueCommerce planned a workshop to enable participants to understand laws and regulations and acquire practical skills so that media operators can communicate information without worries.
The lecturer will also answer questions submitted in advance from people who wish to attend the workshop.
