(head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Katsuya Saito; hereinafter, “Dynatech”). Dynatech operates the Direct In reservation service, which boasts the top market share* for dedicated online reservation systems for official websites of hotels and ryokan (Japanese inns). As a result of this acquisition, Dynatech will become a subsidiary of ValueCommerce.

Since its establishment in 1987, Dynatech has specialized in the development of information systems for hotels and other accommodation facilities—including reservation systems and customer management systems—as a dedicated solutions provider. Currently, it provides services such as Direct In, which boasts the top market share for dedicated online reservation systems for official websites of hotels and Japanese inns, and the hotel operation management system Dynalution.
At the same time, ValueCommerce currently holds an approximate 60% share of affiliate ad distribution for major travel advertisers with the travel category of its ValueCommerce Affiliate service, which represents the top market share* in this category.

Japan’s online travel market is displaying strong growth, with a market scale already estimated at around 4.5 trillion yen*. In line with this growth, the percentage of reservations for hotels and other accommodation facilities in Japan made via online reservation services is also increasing year by year. In view of this increase, there is a demand for hotels and other establishments to employ solutions to communicate information more efficiently and build better relationships with guests.
