ValueCommerce Partners with JOQR to Develop Sound Banner Ads in Recruiting Entries for Radio Commercial Contest

(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Stock Code: 2491 on TSE Mothers, President & CEO: Brian Nelson) is pleased to announce that it is partnering with JOCR (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Established: March 31, 1952, Representative Director & President: Akihiro Miki) in recruiting copywriters to submit radio commercial copies as entries for the 1st One Million Yen Cash Prize JOQR Radio Commercial Contest ( “Radio Commercial Contest ” ) launched on August 1, 2007 by distributing to websites participating in the ValueCommerce Affiliate Program ads called “Sound HTML Banner Ads” that can play the infomercials of contest sponsors.
The Radio Commercial Contest is open to both professional and amateur copywriters. The contest is based upon the Radio Commercial Copy Contest that created a sensation among creators of radio commercials and was held 22 times, and it has now been extended to include Internet radio. This is the first time the contest is being held in its new format. ValueCommerce will use affiliate marketing and word-of-mouth to recruit copywriters to enter 20-second radio commercial copies on the product themes of contest sponsors. The final entries will be aired before the contest winner is announced, and may also be used as commercials.
During the radio commercial contest, pre-recorded infomercials of the contest sponsors are broadcast on the radio while they can be listened to at any time on the radio commercial contest website. The infomercials are generally in interview form- with staff members from the contest sponsors explaining the features of the product being advertised and the key points about the commercial copy. ValueCommerce is partnering in recruiting entries by making an audio appeal to Internet users interested in advertising through the direct distribution of messages from the emcee and judges, the sample commercials, and the infomercials of contest sponsors using sound HTML banner ads.
