ValueCommerce launches a service to distribute the “Sound RSS banner”, attracting customers to the mail order business sites linked with the J-WAVE information program.
ValueCommerce Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Shuji Kusuda.) The banner advertisements enable users to listen to mail order business information program with the same name that is currently broadcast on the FM radio station J-WAVE, simply by clicking the button of the banner advertisement. These banner advertisements use RSS Banner 2.0（a service launched in October 2006) that distributes cutting-edge information in RSS format from an e-commerce site (advertiser) by incorporating it into banner advertisements.
J-REAL (Navigator: Sahel) offers fashion and shopping information for women on the FM radio station J-WAVE（81.3MHz.) It is possible to purchase products introduced on air from J-REAL, the shopping site linked with the program. The program is also distributed in MP3 format (podcasting) after the program airs. Music and information programs can be downloaded to a portable music player such as an Apple iPod for enjoyable listening.
ValueCommerce is starting distribution of “Sound RSS banners” incorporating podcasts of J-REAL. This new banner advertisement uses the RSS Banner 2.0 technology provided by ValueCommerce. It enables users to play the radio program distributed by J-REAL through podcasts directly to their PC by clicking the Play button placed on the banner. As RSS distribution enables updating of podcast content on a banner at any time, e-commerce sites and affiliate partners can constantly provide users visiting partner sites the latest programs without the need to update their banner advertisements.
